Teresa Collins Projects

Another one of my favorite paper artists is Teresa Collins.  I have enjoyed so much working with her designs and want to share a few of my past samples that I hope you will like. If you "stash supplies" like me, this might inspire you to finish a project or two - have fun!

Happy New Year

January Classes
I have the following classes coming up January 17 and 18 at Whim So Doodle in St. Petersburg, Florida - you can reach them at www.whimsodoodle.com or Phone 727-827-4911.

The Valentine Box Configuration features a crackle finish frame (inspired by Richele Christensen) and the jewelry class features two necklaces, one using Tim's Locket and the other his Pocket Watch - do hope some of you can join us!

So glad you are joining me on this new adventure, I look forward to your comments and suggestions as I reach out and attempt to inspire the creative lives of others. Please be patient as I navigate my way through today's technology to add buttons and bells and links, in hopes you will enjoy the projects and techniques offered here.

In the fall of 2012, I experienced an epiphany while attending classes taught by Tim Holtz here in Florida.  His expertise, patience and support in learning new techniques truly inspired my new beginnings and so I share with you those workshop projects, with added personal "twists" suited to my decor.

The first, "Patchwork Pandemonium" has been reconfigured as blog side banners, featuring a mermaid cut from grunge board, her hair die-cut using the Sizzix "On the Edge - Scrollwork" die plus gathered beach accents including shells and a gull feather.

The second was his "Configuration of your Imagination" which I adapted into a Florida theme with real shells:

the third "Journeys to the Past" tag book which I decided needed a matching keepsake box:

and then there was the jewelry - I LOVE JEWELRY and had spotted a piece in Tim's 2012 CHA Summer show booth which I attempted to copy - thus:
